We’d like to thank Santa for stopping by to visit our kiddos in our Early Learning and School Age programs. We enjoyed hearing some wonderful stories and the kids even got to ask what they would like for Christmas!

It takes a community! As we wrap up our Annual Holiday Toy Drive just before Christmas, we'd like to share that this year the Youth Development team here at ...the York YMCA gave away toys to 422 kiddos, up from 263 last year! Wow, way to go! A huge thank you to the many individuals and organizations throughout York County who played a role in donating gifts for children in need this season. It's time like this that can bring great joy to families as we wind down another year. Happy Holidays everyone! yorkcoymca.org www.instagram.com/yorkcountyymca/

The Y is more than a gym and now is another chance to prove it. Starting 12/12/2020, in compliance with the Governor’s orders, we will be making the following ...changes to our services. - All of our gyms, pools, and fitness centers will be closed - Our aquatics, youth sports, and other relevant programs will be paused or altered to adhere to health and safety guidelines - All in-person programs, such as chronic disease prevention and youth development, are postponed, being restructured, or transitioning to virtual formats - All in-person events, such as Kids Night Out, are postponed, being restructured, or transitioning to virtual formats But we’re still here for the community and need you to stay with us. With you on our team, we’re still able to keep kiddos learning and safe in our childcare, now EduCare make sure newcomers to the area make it in their new homes feed and clothe families in southern York County with Southern Community Services give families in York City meals during times of need house over 100 formerly homeless men in our Men’s Residence offer virtual support to people experiencing chronic diseases provide virtual wellness services to all, members or otherwise, free of charge A piece of our members’ dues and donations make sure that this work and more is in our community. We’re asking that all of our members, volunteers, donors, and friends in the community stay with us the best that they can. We know that these times are pushing us all to the limit so we ask that everyone in our Y family first take care of themselves and their loved ones, but, if able, continue to be there for all the people served at the YMCA by referring anyone in need to our services. To access our virtual wellness services, go to our YouTube Channel at https://www.youtube.com/YorkCountyYMCA Please email [email protected] with any questions or referrals or go to https://yorkcoymca.org/shutdown for more links and information. Thank you for being a part of the Y family. Now more than ever, you’re why we can say we’re more than just a gym and why our community will make it through this, no matter what.
