Delayed post. Monday night meeting, then drill. We wanted to show the guys the difference between water and foam on car fires. And how it reacts with different materials in newer cars. The vehicle was hit with large amounts of water and the fire died down but wouldn't go completely out. So after applying foam the vehicle goes completely out. We used the thermal imagining camera to show how hot the vehicle became in a short amount of time. ONE GOAL,ALL IN ATTITUDE!

Drill night, We posed some scenarios from events that happened a while back and had questioned on what if..? So huge thanks to Tim's towing for loaning the cars. We set up the tower and test our theories. The members wonder how close could the tower be able to operate if there were cars flooded out on a busy road with trapped occupant. And could the below grade angle be able to operate in tight place with life in the balance. So we set the tower up where the vehicle would ...be under electrical lines and on a downward slope . This was the results. Solid work by all tonight. ONE GOAL, ALL IN ATTITUDE! See more
