The Officers and Members of the Conshohocken Fire Company No. 2 regretfully announces the passing of Joseph ‘Joe’ Januzelli. Joe began his 40+ year career after receiving a steel helmet from his father, at the age of 13. Joe had held several positions within the Conshohocken Fire Department throughout his career, from Chief Engineer, Assistant Chief and Fire Marshal. Joe had worked in the Borough of Conshohocken’s Fire Marshal's Office for 23 years, before going to work at... the Norristown Code Enforcement Department. Joe had a wealth of knowledge in building and fire codes, as well as vehicle mechanics. More recently Joe and his wife Beth were restoring our 1941 Autocar. Re-wiring all the electrical and replacing the dashboard as well as installing new chrome fixtures. Viewing will be on Friday February 5 from 9AM - 10:30AM. Mass to follow at St. Matthews Church. Joe will be deeply missed by all.
The Snow Emergency declared for the Borough of Conshohocken still remains in effect until further notice. Due to current winter weather conditions the Borough A...dministrative Office and the Community Center at the Fellowship House will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday, February 2, 2021. Business will still be conducted remotely, and employees may be reached through phone or email. There will be no trash and recycling collection tomorrow, Tuesday, February 2, 2021 as Public Services continues focusing efforts on road conditions and clearing snow and ice. https://bit.ly/3czppxo
[1045 AM update] A band of heavy snow continues to develop this morning just south of Interstate-78. This band of snow is forecast to continue to expand late th...is morning. The sleet and freezing rain mix will change back over to snow soon (except right along the coast). Underneath this band, another 12 to 24" of snowfall is forecast. Snow will then continue through the evening hours. Expect slippery and hazardous road conditions. There will be no trash pick-up on Thursday, December 17th due to anticipated weather conditions. Trash will be collected for the east side of town on their next scheduled trash day on Monday, December 21st.
Due to the forecasted inclement weather, there will be no yard waste collection on Wednesday, December 16, 2020. Public Services will focus on snow removal efforts.

Significant snow accumulations a...re possible in Montgomery County and across the region. Current forecast: Eastern Montco (east of PA Turnpike/I-276): 8-12" Central and Western Montco (west of PA Tpke.): 12-18" Uncertainly remains in the exact track of the low pressure system, which will affect the placement of the rain/snow line.
