Thursday, Sept 10 @ 1630 units were dispatched to the area of 1076 Hade Rd. For a garage fire. While enroute units were advised of a 2 car detached garage with smoke showing. Deputy Chief 18 arrived and confirmed dispatch. Engine 18-2 arrived and placed a line in service. After about 15 minutes fire was under control and units were in overhaul. Companies on scene co. 18,Sta 4, co. 9, co.8, air 10

Just a reminder Monday Morning August 31,2020 the Tuscarora School District will be returning students to schools. Please be aware of busses and students. Remember to stop for all flashing red lights. To all the students and staff here’s to a good year.

The parking lot carnival has been extended and will be going on from 1-6 today. Come out and enjoy some rides, games and food. Small games of chance also available. Come out and enjoy the last day and the beautiful weather.

Carnival is off to a good start. Come enjoy kiddie rides , games and carnival food. We are here til Saturday evening. Starts at 5pm each evening

At this time to follow mandates from the Governor the breakfast for July is cancelled. Please continue to monitor for the starting of events.

This afternoon units were alerted to 8778 Edenville cheese town road for a wheat field fire. While enroute a brush task force was started. Chief 18 arrived and advised to hold off on replacements. Assignment was quickly held to Brush 18 and Special unit 44. Units fluorine 1/4 acre most or the fire our units operates ground sweeps and placed in service a short time later.
