**TRAIN/VEHICLE CRASH** Newberry Twp Police are currently investigating a collision between a vehicle and a train in the area of the 1200 blk. of Cly Rd. As of 10:50 AM the roadway is open.

Our Officers were humbled to receive a basket full of goodies from Taylor Strickhouser who raised the money to show her support for law enforcement during National Law Enforcement week. Thank you Taylor!

N.T.P.D. Secret Santa 2020 This year Newberry Township Police teamed up with North Shore Friends, Walmart and our other amazing community partners to assist Santa in carrying out his Christmas Mission. On December 13th, our officers, their assistants and a few little helpers shopped for presents through-out Walmart, fulfilling wishes of kids in our community that were nominated. They then spent hours wrapping the gifts to give Santa an extra helping hand this year. We are pro...ud to say that we were able to accommodate ALL children nominated in our coverage area this year thanks to our amazing community partners. On December 20th, we delivered all of the presents to their respective homes to take a little work off of Santa on Christmas. Our officers look forward to all of our community events during the year but this one in particular is defined by words like Joyful and Heartwarming. **Santa Protection Detail** Good Evening from our Officers on duty this Christmas Eve! We know how important it is that Santa arrives safely and securely to all of the houses on his list tonight! Therefore, Officer Bortner and Officer Nauman will be ensuring Santa has a safe flight through our communities to deliver Christmas joy to all. Sleep well knowing that these Officers will be looking out for the big guy as he visits our neighborhoods tonight!
