Today Darby Police treated our good friends from Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital Emergency Department Staff to lunch. They are some of the hardest working folks around an awesome group of people who show compassion and professionalism to everyone who walks through their doors. Thank you all again for all you do!

The Tinicum Township Police and the Delaware County District Attorney’s Office have issued an arrest warrant for William GABE, Jr., a 31-year-old male from Wal...lingford, Delaware County, Pennsylvania. The warrant is for Drug Delivery Resulting in Death along with Involuntary Manslaughter. On 07/14/2020 a sixteen-year-old female from Prospect Park died at the Red Roof Inn in Essington as a result of an overdose from fentanyl. It is believed that GABE provided the fentanyl and attempted to destroy evidence pertaining to the death. Tinicum Township Police are requesting that anyone who knows the whereabouts of GABE call the Tinicum Township Police Department at 610-521-3830 or Detectives David Tyler or Michele Deery of the Criminal Investigations Division at 610-891-4197 or 610-891-8745.

Today, members of the police department and administrative staff were treated to lunch by Proaction Restoration Inc. We are very thankful for this gesture and we would like to thank Mike McIntyre and his staff!

We can hope this begins to bring some sort of closure to the family.

PARENTS Technology pickup scam We have been made aware that a school district in Montgomery Country reported a scam that involves families recei...ving phone callsfrom someone claiming they are from the school and that they will be coming to their home to retrieve their iPad/Chromebook. Although there has been no reports of this in Delaware County, we want to make our parent community aware of this issue!!! If you do receive a phone call that you think is a scam please don’t hesitate to contact your local Police!! See more
