The Borough does not accept electronics at cleanup day. Please do not bring any to the Pine Street lot.

The Borough is receiving reports that parts of our public parks are being damaged. If you see any damage when in the parks, please alert the Borough so that the appropriate insurance claims can be made. We want all of the Borough residents and our neighbors to have safe outdoor spaces that are in good condition.

As summer approaches, please stay on top of your yard maintenance. The Property Maintenance Code (Ordinance 1-7) puts a maximum height of six inches on grass. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the Borough office.

Please make sure that you are picking up after your dog, whether the dog goes on the sidewalk or in a neighbor's yard. It takes all of us to keep Millersburg looking and smelling good.

UPDATE-- The Dog is now in custody of the owner. Thank you for your help. LOST DOG ALERT- This quiet sweetheart was found on Church Street this morning, but the tags indicate York County. Anyone know who might be missing their friend? Please contact the Borough via Facebook or at 717-692-2389 with any information.

The Borough will begin street sweeping on Monday April 5th. Please watch for the no parking signs going up on your street in the coming days. Please utilize as much off street parking as possible next week.

Regarding the Plum Street Temporary Parking Order-- If you have a driveway or carport on Plum Street between Boyd and Race, you may park in there as usual. If you have any confusion about the Parking Order, please call the Borough office at 717-692-2389 and we'll be happy to answer any questions.

Temporary Parking Order-- Beginning Midnight on May 28th, it will be temporarily prohibited to park on the South Side of Plum Street. This restriction extends from the rear of 226 Union to the rear of 356 Union. This is being done so that emergency vehicles and waste vehicles can safely access those properties. The restriction is currently set to lift on August 12th at midnight. Please do not block driveways or other access points. As the situation develops, residents in the area will be contact with further updates.

SNOW EMERGENCY-- Millersburg Borough will be operating under a Snow Emergency from noon tomorrow (12/16) through midnight of 12/17 due to the winter storm coming through. While the Borough is short staffed, alternate arrangements are being made to ensure that roads are cleared. We appreciate your patience and cooperation with removing vehicles from the Snow Emergency Routes. The attached photo has the Snow Emergency Routes marked (please note that Center Street above Church Street is only on the North Side). Failure to move a vehicle out of the Emergency Route can get you a ticket. We urge you-- if you do not absolutely have to be out tomorrow, do not go out. Stay safe and stay warm!

Here is an update on the impending winter storm. Snow should start to move in at lunch time with an approximate snowfall total of 6-8 between 1:00 and 7:00 PM... on Wednesday. Snowfall is expected to intensify between 7:00 PM and 1:00 AM Thursday with snowfall rates of 2-4 per hour. We highly recommend folks DO NOT travel during this time frame especially. The storm should wrap up between 1:00 AM and 7:00 AM Thursday with a best case scenario of 12 of snow and a worst case scenario of 24 or more (localized locations). Wind gusts of 20-30 mph are expected and wind chills in the teens/single digits. There is a 99% chance of & or more of snow and 83-92% chance of a fooot or more. We encourage folks to stay off the roads for this storm if at all possible and use extreme caution if you need to be traveling. As we get more information, maps and guidance, we will update you.
