***2021 Spring Ham and Oyster takeout dinner has been cancelled*** We regret to announce that our 2021 Spring Ham and Oyster takeout dinner scheduled for Saturday, April 17 has been cancelled. In providing a food service, even for only one day, we are affected by the rising food costs and limited supply/increased demand of the food items that we sell. Ham prices have increased 18% from last spring, while the price per gallon of oyster has increased 26% from last fall. Compl...icating matters even more is that our supplier is unable to get West Coast oysters this spring, which meant we'd have to use the significantly smaller East Coast oysters. While this wasn't an easy decision, being faced with increasing our prices 30-35% to remain viable (while selling a lesser oyster product) led us to cancel this fundraiser. We will not be making a decision on our Fall fundraising dinner until closer to the date. We appreciate the continued support of our residents through this trying time, whether through attending our annual auction or donating through our annual membership and fund drives.
