PUBLIC NOTICE The Kidder Township Board of Supervisors will hold a Public Workshop from 4:00 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday, May 13, 2021. The purpose of this meeting is to allow the public the opportunity to comment on a Proposed Short-Term Rental Ordinance. Anyone that is not available to attend please submit questions and comments by Friday, May 7, 2021 to the township office or by emailing Tammy McMahon at [email protected]. Please be aware that seating will be limited. The meeting will be held at the Kidder Township Municipal Building, 10 Lake Harmony Road (State Route 1003), Lake Harmony, PA 18624.

2021 Dog licenses are now available at the Kidder Township Municipal Building, Monday thru Friday, 8am - 4pm. Dog licenses are for any Carbon County Resident. Lifetime licenses are available through the Carbon County Treasurers office only! Prices are as follows and exact change is appreciated:... Regular Male/Female - $9.00 Neutered Male/Spayed Female - $7.00 Senior Regular Male/Female - $7.00 Senior Neutered Male/Spayed Female - $5.00

Please remember to keep your driveways and walkways clear of snow and ice for emergency personnel, in the event they are needed at your residence. Remember to clear out the end of your driveways after the plows come through. It is also extremely important for our communities to keep their roadways free and clear of snow and ice for emergency personnel, garbage trucks and utility trucks to enter and be safe on the roadways in our communities. If you have a fire hydrant on or near your property, please remember to shovel them out for easy access to our firefighters. Let’s work together to keep our Township safe during these winter months!

Please read the following informational item that we have regarding fireworks. The Kidder Township Police Department will be enforcing these laws based on their... discretion this holiday weekend. Kidder Township has established a local ordinance which prohibits setting off fireworks within the township.This law supersedes Pennsylvania State law making fireworks completely illegal within the Township.
