LOWER CHANCEFORD TOWNSHIP | FIRST BLOCK OF CREEK RD | STRUCTURE FIRE | BOX: 55-05 | 16 OCTOBER 2020 @ 2013 HRS Engine 57, Tanker 57, Rescue 57 and Brush 57 were alerted for a mutual aid structure fire. E57 advised Deputy Chief 55 that there was a heavy column of smoke coming from that area and believed to be a working fire. Deputy 55 requested the working fire assignment as E57 arrived with heavy fire showing from a 2 story house under construction. Companies had issues gaining access to the dwelling as the house was across a creek. The only access was an old bridge but were unsure if the bridge would support fire apparatus. They were able to set up a blitzfire to knock the fire down. Units were on scene for several hours. The fire is under investigation.
