Over the past few months our members have been working hard on our raffles. The money you donate to our department goes into several items. 1 of the biggest items our fundraising funds go into is insurance for our hard working volunteers and the apparatus we ride on. 2nd item is paying off our Tanker we received in 2019. Losing 4 of our 2020 Fish Frys, 2020 boot drives, 2020 carnival and now possibly our 2021 fish fry’s our department had to come with the safest way to create... funding to pay for the new tanker and monthly bills. With the regular bills still coming in such as training, fuel for the rigs, heating, sewer, water, cleaning of the building, monthly maintenance to equipment, yearly maintenance and testing on all equipment and of course some upgrades of equipment to help protect our citizens. We’ve added battery powered tools to our Squad, a new trauma bag to our squad that is heavily used, adapters for the tanker to make it user friendly, new tires to our Brush and Engine and a new counter top in our fish fry trailer installed by commercial stainless to make more sanitary. We are are very appreciative of the support we get from our great followers and we look forward to the continued support.
