IMPORTANT RAFFLE UPDATE As we are all aware over the last few weeks many fire companies and charitable organization have found innovative ways to raise funds. One of those ways was our on line raffle. Which during these COVID times has really almost stopped us from having face to face fund raisers. As most organization have found other ways to raise funds and bring us into the technology world. One of those used by many are the online raffle but, the small games of chance la...w prevents us from continuing with the use of credit or debit cards. Yea there legislation out there to over turn that but, our legislators may not have enough session time this year to help us in these trying times. There is someone who can help though since there is an emergency declaration in the state. Our Governor has the ability to make a legislative declaration suspending these rules during this emergency. So we are asking all of you who supported and participated in these raffle to please call his office 717-787-2500. Asking him to please use his legislative power to allow the credit/debit card payments for our fund raising effort. In addition to his office we ask that you contact your local legislator to also contact him to do this for all of us. Fire companies are still out their responding on calls and providing much valuable service everyday. We have found an innovative way to raise funds with the use of very little man power. Please stress to him how you would like to continue to support fire companies, ambulances and all charitable organizations. Their services are invaluable to everyone. We thank you for your continued support. So if you enjoyed our raffles and want them Back as much as we do we ask for your help in this matter. We will always be there to help so we ask that you voice your support in our ways to provide service. Thank you to everyone who supported us during our short 5 weeks.
