Great news out of Pittsburgh. As you know local fire departments are in need of volunteers, but also local EMS agencies need more workers as well. A new initiative from UPMC https://medcitynews.com//upmc-launches-ems-training-prog/

Took delivery of 5 new MSA G1 SCBA air packs recently and tonight for drill we completed the inservice training. Then we did a little large area search and rescue training using the new packs. Thanks to Fire Force for the excellent customer service and the relief association for the funding to purchase these units.
Midnight ride happy new year!

What to peel and peek? The future is no longer for just airbags and seatbelt pretensioners, we have to look for the orange, blue or red cables. These are high v...oltage and can not be cut. 2018 Tesla Model 3. Tactical Fire-Training #firefighters #autoextrication #firefighting Teslamodel3 Task Force 1, Inc. See more

Last Thursday’s drill included a walk thru of the waste water treatment plant. We periodically walk thru commercial structures in our area so we can plan for emergencies in advance. Thank you to Todd Kirkwood for showing us around and helping us plan for the future.
Today clients enrolled at the Adult Achievement Center learned about fire prevention! Thank you to Chris Jogan and the Ford City Hose Co. #1 for spending the afternoon with our clients and teaching them how to stay safe!
Today your fire department completed an inspection from the ISO and currently our ISO rating is 6. Lowering our ISO rating would mean lower home owners insurance rates for our residents. Today we gained valuable information on how to lower our rating and we will be taking action to do just that. The goal would be to have a re-inspection done prior to the normal 5 year scheduled inspection. Thanks to all of you who support us and know that we are doing our best to return that support to you.
The holidays will be here before you know stay safe with these fire safety tips!
