CLASS CHANGE ALERT Starting tomorrow, Monday, 8/17, Christina’s 7pm Monday (live-stream) and Sunday noon (pre-recorded) will be a workshop style class with a rotating topic to change every week or two. This coming week will be backbend basics! Learn (or review) techniques, prop usage, and anatomical terms to safely and effectively perform beginner level supported and active backbending postures. These poses help to reverse curvature in the upper back, improve posture, l...essen and prevent headaches and migraines, increase energy and stamina, and help to alleviate depression. Must have a mat, 1-2 blocks, a strap or belt or exercise band, and 2-3 blankets. The following week, 8/24, will be more advanced Backbends, refining and building on the concepts presented in Part I. Pre-requisite for part II is the props listed above, plus either 3 months minimum yoga experience and/or attendance of part I.
