This post comes with a heavy heart. A few weeks ago we lost a dear club mate and friend to all who knew him, John Davis. I had the privilege of coaching him for nearly 3 years. He was always an upbeat spirit and made our Saber class more fun for everyone. He will long be remembered for the good times and laughs he brought with him. I will especially treasure the saber Christmas photos he would have us take. He may have been the oldest person in the class but he approached it with tenacity and a high energy level. His family was kind enough to donate his gear to the club today which is how I learned of his passing. John will be very missed. Touch of Spring 2019 was a great local event. Congratulations to all of our medal winners and a big shout out to Sarah for earning her Saber E 19!

Clash of Claymores is a three weapon fencing event in Shippensburg tomorrow. The foil and Epee are both E1 events and the saber could use a few more people. It is only $20 for your first weapon and $10 for each additional. Come out and play! https://askfred.net/Events/whoIsComing.php
