First alarm companies are cleaning up from a High Risk/Commercial Structure Fire at Richland Towers. Crews found smoke and fire conditions on Division 1. Thanks... to mutual aide companies for assisting. And thanks for our stand by companies for providing coverage during the incident. It is with great sadness to learn that former Oakland Fire Chief Ron Helsel has passed away. Ron was a longtime friend and supporter of Windber Fire Department. Our condolences go out to Ron’s family and Oakland Fire Company. PS: Have coffee waiting Ron, you will be missed!

Tomorrow’s storm is going to bring a lot of snow. Please help our firefighters help you! After the snow comes down if you could help out your local fire departm...ents by removing the snow at least 3 feet on all sides of all fire hydrants, they would greatly appreciate it. If there would happen to be any fires the firemen could quickly hook up their hoses to battle the blaze! Let’s help them out by making all hydrants are easily accessible and ready to be used! Remember 3 feet on all sides!

With the Thanksgiving season quickly approaching, we have so much to be thankful for here at Memorial Highway Chevrolet, especially each and every person we've ...welcomed into our growing family this year!
