A SPECIAL THANKSGIVING DAY CHALLENGE I bring value to all of my relationships is a continual reminder of the importance of empathy, respect, patience, and service. We all agree with the theory, but during the holiday season when stresses are higher, it can be a challenge to put it into practice. This week consider going out of your way to do something nice for a few select people in your life ---maybe for a family member, a coworker, or a complete stranger. Remember to get outside of your comfort zone and do something different, something unexpected. Don’t expect anything in return. Don’t do it for recognition or gratitude. Do it because it is the right thing to do. In doing this, you’ll be reminded that bringing joy to others is the easiest way to bring more joy into your own life.

ADULTS CLASS PROMOTION - September 12, 2020

I would like to thank Grandmaster Joe Fox for his guidance through the years in my martial arts journey. On Saturday, he awarded me my 7th Dan and title of Grandmaster. Even more special, he gifted me the original 9th Dan belt of our style’s founder, GM Liam Kil Choi, as a symbol of continuing to pass the torch. This accomplishment is in large part the result of having great students who motivate and inspire me to work on being a better martial artist, instructor and person. Thanks to all of you! - G.
