Morning travel update as of 0700 12/17/20 Here in our Township, our state highways are snow-covered and still a little slick but passable with reduced speeds. All of our township crews are out working on the township roads, some of them are drifting closed as soon as they are plowed. Please give our Township plow drivers a few more hours to clear the roads off. ... We do appreciate the very limited amount of vehicles out traveling as it makes it much easier to plow without trying to maneuver around stuck vehicles.

Looks like they are narrowing down the accumulation amounts and have us in the 18-24 inch range. Please stay off the roads if possible until our plow drivers can clear them. Reminder that some of our hills get impassable especially the Blue Mountain and Clamtown hills.

Winter Storm set to hit us starting Wednesday afternoon. There is a lot of discrepancy yet on how much but most forecasts are saying over a foot of snow. Please plan your travel accordingly and if possible stay off the roads and give our plow drivers time and space to clear them.
