There are no words that will make this easier-my friend and Mayor Antoinette Johnson has passed away. Please keep her family in your prayers as they mourn her passing.

Good afternoon, I want to take a moment and share with the community some very sad and upsetting news. Earlier this month we announced that @Mayor Antoinette Jo...hnson was in the hospital fighting a long term illness. Unfortunately, weeks of treatment, multiple surgeries and the best care possible have not been enough to help her get better. Her family and Dr’s have made the very difficult decision to stop her life support and to let her rest peacefully her last few days in hospice. Please keep her family in your thoughts and prayers as they deal with this difficult time. We ask that you respect their privacy during this time as well. Toni’s love for our community will always be felt. She is a great friend, mother, grandmother and humanitarian.Mayor Antoinette Johnson is truly a wonderful person and we will miss her. See more
