Special Announcement: Yesterday, the Otto Township Old Home Days Committee held what was undoubtedly the toughest meeting of the past 29 years. Mr. Gregory Engl...ish, along with his dedicated crew, has provided this Community with the region's most incredible fireworks display since the second year of this event. Unfortunately, on June 7th, Mr. English unexpectedly passed away. The Committee is deeply saddened by this news and we'd like to extended our most heartfelt condolences to his family during this difficult time. The sudden loss of Mr. English will have a major impact on the Old Home Days event, as he and his crew were a vital part of this organization. We'd like to take a moment to make a few announcements. First and foremost, we WILL have the fireworks on July 24th, 2021 and all other events of Old Home Days will continue as planned. We will also be dedicating the event to Mr. English, and those attending can expect the biggest fireworks display in the history of Old Home Days. However, without the presence of Mr. English moving forward, we do not have the ability to provide fireworks beyond this year's event. Due to these circumstances and in honor of Mr. English, the Committee has officially decided that the 29th Annual Otto Township Old Home Days will be the final year. Please join the Committee for what will be the "Grand Finale" of Old Home Days, as we send off this incredible event with a "Bang". More details about the event will be released through various media outlets in the coming weeks. Thank you all so much for supporting our event for so many years, we will surely miss all of you.
