Good Morning West Bradford, It appears the winter weather event is now imminent. Here are some important notices for the upcoming storm. An emergency snow decl...aration will take effect this morning at 10:00 a.m. and will remain in place until lifted. At this point, it appears that will be sometime early Tuesday morning. We will post notice when the declaration will be lifted. Please do not park your vehicles on the public roadways during this time. It is important that our emergency personnel and snowplows are able to maneuver the roadways safely. Trash and recycling that is scheduled for pick up on Monday, February 1st will be moved to Wednesday, February 3rd. ROAD CLOSURE - For the week of Mon, Dec 28th through Sat, Jan 2nd, Valley Creek Road between Rt 322 to Boot Road will be having tree work conducted. Please plan alternate route accordingly for this week.

Yesterday and into this morning station 39 responded to 5 calls for service; 2 motor vehicle collisions, 1 car fire, 1 medical call and fire alarm.Crews staffed the station in preparation for the storm. We hope everyone was able to stay safe and warm throughout! If you have a fire hydrant on or near your property and snow is blocking it we kindly ask for you to shovel a 3' circle around the hydrant, in case emergencies crews need to be able to access the hydrant quickly we greatly appreciate it!

Stroud Preserve will be closed this Friday, 12-4-20, for maintenance. We've had a lot of new visitors discover us in recent months (which is amazing!) and it's taken a toll on our facilities. We apologize for the inconvenience. Please consider visiting nearby ChesLen Preserve instead.

Around 5pm, a hunter reported seeing a barefoot child, about 8 years of age, white or Hispanic in a blue tee shirt playing in the field.
