Attention curbside and commercial recycling customers, your recycling payment is due prior to January 31, 2021. If you have not made your payment, please do so to ensure your service will be not interrupted.

Our Administrative Assistant, Jennifer Pearsall, was happy to present a contribution of $1,000 to the Clinton County SPCA on behalf of the employees of the Wayne Township Landfill. Everyone voted for their favorite charity and the SPCA was the winner! Clinton County S.P.C.A.

The recycling curbside collection routes will be running tomorrow; however, they will be delayed.

HOLIDAY RECYCLING PICKUP REMINDER Curbside residents, if your recycling day falls on a holiday we will pick up your recycling the next business day.

The First Annual Family ATV ride was a success. Each person donated $20 which will go towards a charity that will be chosen by the employees around Christmas time, at this time we have collected $920. We had a total of 26 machines with approximately 45 people participating and rode a total of 83 miles from Quiet Oaks Campground to Denton Hill (Lyman Run). We would like to give a huge Thank You to Henry Sorgen and his crew from CMATV Assoc. for guiding us on this ride and also to Dave and Carla Flack from Quiet Oaks Campground for their hospitality to allowing us to camp and park all our vehicles at their facility.

The Wayne Township Landfill will be closing at noon on Thursday, December 24th and will be closed Christmas Day. We will reopen with regular hours of 7-noon on Saturday, 12/26. The landfill will also be closing at noon on Thursday, December 31st and will be closed New Year’s Day. We will reopen with regular hours of 7-noon on Saturday, 1/2.

There are 23 municipal recycling drop off locations throughout the county. You are welcome to take your recycling to any of these locations free of charge. We ask that you please follow the few simple rules listed below: - Sort your recycling according to the labeled compartments - DO NOT place bags of materials into the compartments - DO NOT leave items outside of the containers

Now hiring for a full-time administrative position to manage WTL’s human resource department, as well as assist in various aspects of the company’s accounting functions. Applications will be accepted until the position is filled.

The Wayne Twp. Landfill recently held their 20th Annual John B. Hoy, Jr. Memorial Charity Golf Tournament at the Clinton Country Club. This tournament has raised over $165,000 in the past 19 years. This year’s recipient was The Salvation Army’s Kids Café Children’s Program. The total raised for the Salvation Army was $19,074.00. A special thanks goes out to Highway Equipment & Supply Company for being our Platinum sponsor.
