Yesterday we celebrated the grand opening of the Ephrata Bike Park at Heatherwood. Located just off the WERT at Lemon Street, this park offers a BMX pump track, a tiny pump track for the littlest riders, and a mountain bike skills park. Another great reason for our community to opt outside! A huge thanks goes to SAMBA (Susquehanna Area Mountain Bike Association) and Mainspring of Ephrata for making this happen!

It’s time to take a detour into some dirt! We’re so excited about the opening of the Ephrata Bike Park, located just off the WERT. These new trails bring mountain biking to the masses. Come celebrate their opening!

PLEASE BE ADVISED!! The Borough of Ephrata has a notified us that they will be doing some much needed tree maintenance on the WERT Warwick to Ephrata Rail Trai...l tomorrow and Friday from 7AM - 3PM both days. The trail will need to be closed during that time for public safety. The closure will be between Parkview Heights Rd & the tunnel at Ephrata Township Line. See more

WERT will be closed in Ephrata Twp. from Park View Heights Rd. to the twp. line at the tunnel both Thursday (July 25) and Friday (July 26) from 7am-3pm for tree trimming along the trail. Please plan accordingly.

The heat is...OFF! We're excited for a few days of lower-temp riding and walking on the WERT. *Also, does anyone else love to sing while riding through the tunnel? Our kids can't get enough of hearing their echo...
