All proceeds from this donation will be used for the Frontline Assistance Fund. With the increase in COVID-19 cases in Warren County, our local healthcare system has been stretched to its limits. In response, the WCCBI and Warren County Commissioners, in conjunction with the Community Foundation and Warren Lions Club, launched the Frontline Assistance Fund. The program involves weekly deliveries of snacks, drinks, meals, and personal care items to multiple local institutions that are caring for vulnerable populations or populations already affected by the Coronavirus. Food and supplies, such as granola bars, chips, breakfast snacks, coffee, water, deodorant, shampoo, and other items will be purchased and stored at WCCBI, to be distributed weekly to our healthcare organizations. This will continue through December and January as the healthcare workers continue to address the pandemic. Local institutions include, but are not limited to: Warren General Hospital The Rouse Home and Suites Warren Manor Kinzua Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center Cambridge Warren Senior Living Watson Memorial Home EmergyCare of Warren We are excited to partner with the Community Foundation, Warren County Commissioners, and residents of Warren County, in helping those who are helping those of us in need, sacrificing their personal time and willingly putting themselves in harms way on our behalf. We greatly appreciate and applaud the generosity of our community in joining with us in providing the funds necessary to allow us to extend this thank you to all our local caregiver heroes. -WCCBI President/CEO, Jim Decker

These new mandates go in to effect on midnight FRIDAY. Please read carefully. Some key take away points: 1. All in-person indoor dining at businesses in the retail food services industry, including, but not limited to, bars, restaurants, breweries, wineries, distilleries, social clubs, and private catered events is prohibited. ... Outdoor dining, take-out food service, and take-out alcohol sales are permitted and may continue, subject to any limitations or restrictions imposed by Pennsylvania law, or this or any other Order issued by the Sec. of Health or by the governor. 2. Indoor gatherings and events of more than 10 persons are prohibited. 3. Outdoor gatherings and events of more than 50 persons are prohibited. 4. All in-person businesses serving the public may only operate at up to 50% of the maximum capacity stated on the applicable certificate of occupancy, except as limited by existing orders to a smaller capacity limit. 5. Indoor operations at gyms and fitness facilities are prohibited. Outdoor facilities and outdoor classes can continue, but all participants must wear face coverings. 6. Voluntary activities sponsored or approved by a school entity's governing body or administration are suspended, but these extracurricular activities may be held virtually. This includes, but is not limited to, attendance at or participation in activities such musical ensembles, school plays, student council, clubs, and school dances. 7. All sports at K-12 public schools, nonpublic schools, private schools and club, travel, recreational, intermural, and intramural sports are paused. The Pennsylvania Principals Association is recommending a delay to the start of the winter sports season. The surge in cases among school-age children increases the risk that asymptomatic participants will spread the virus at a game or practice, in the locker room, while traveling to and from events, or at team meals, parties or other gatherings. New Chamber member, Cambridge Warren is wrapping up their 3rd Annual Sock Drive, it is not too late to donate! Did you know that Cambridge of Warren is celebrating their 20 year anniversary in the Warren County community this year? Did you also know that the location of Cambridge, 706 Pennsylvania Avenue West, used to be an old hotel where the owner of Cambridge, Steve, used to stay as a little boy? Their keys to success are supporting the idea of community involvement and em...powering local employment of the health and medical industry. Contact a staff member by calling their Warren location at (814) 313-6050 for more information on all the services they have to offer our community. To the staff at Cambridge, WCCBI would like to say THANK YOU for the investment made to our community. See more
