Peer Tutoring is available at the Venango Campus in person, or via Zoom! No appointment is needed for in person tutoring. However, we do require an appointment for Zoom based tutoring, as some set up is required. Please email coordinator Kyle Vickers: [email protected] or the tutor you would like to work with to schedule a Zoom tutoring session. Tutor Spotlight: Ellie Thompson Major: Nursing Hometown: Emlenton... Why did you become a peer tutor? "I really enjoy helping others." Advice for new students: "Get help when you need it. Don't wait!" Future Plans: Ellie plans to work as an OB Nurse at UMPC Northwest, then get her BSN, and see where things to from there. Fun Fact: Ellie was a 1,000 point scorer in high school basketball, and holds her school's record with 1,527 points! Favorite TV Show: The Office Favorite Movie: Tombstone Favorite Band: Led Zeppelin Hobbies: Hobbies are few and far between while in nursing school, but Ellie likes working out in her free time.
