Yes! Barking "no!" at a child will be frustrating for both parent and child, because it's not effective teaching. At a certain age (baby/toddlerhood), distrac...ting and/or removing the child from the situation is going to work best. But always take a moment to teach, to explain, to reinforce the lesson. And as the child gets older, explain more and more. Children are curious. They want to know why they can or can't do this, why this or that is right or wrong. Teach them! -Kristen Via @L.R.
