LOOKING FOR MEDICAL ASSISTANT OR LPN Looking for a self-motivated and experienced Certified Medical Assistant or LPN to join our growing practice. As a medical assistant/LPN, you will be: Verifying information by interviewing patient, confirming purpose of office visit Taking and recording vital signs, medical history, medication, and allergies Assist with prescription refills as per physician order... Collect specimens and follow up on diagnostic testing Educate and prepare patients for treatments and procedures including but not limited to wound care Assist the physician during exams and medical procedures Administer vaccines and maintain records Triage and manage incoming phone messages Ensure safety procedures are followed Maintain accurate and confidential, up to date patient information in Electronic Medical Record (EMR) Obtain prior authorizations for requested testing and procedures. Skills Medical office experience with knowledge of electronic medical record’s is preferred.
