Dear Friends, As one door closes another opens. It is with enormous gratitude that we ring in the New Year (and the new decade). May all of us be blessed with good times and good luck in our future endeavors. The Tre Scalini Family and Staff (both past and present) are beyond gracious for all well wishes, gifts and continued support. So many of you rushed in to give us sincere smiles, the kindest thoughts and gestures, our hearts are filled with emotion beyond words.... As we officially close these doors today in anticipation of a new chapter, we must say, the past 25 years on this avenue and those previous years on the other side of Broad Street were an absolute success! The entire process was made possible not only by hard work, but the most loyal and gracious supporters, you are all simply the BEST!!! To all our loyal patrons, many of you have become our dearest friends and even family over the years. It is not with a completely heavy heart that we announce this transition, but with a heart filled primarily with gratitude, the gratitude that comes with the opportunity to be a part of so many lives. We have shared and celebrated with so many of you... for over a quarter century. For Chef Franca and the rest of us, each day starts with the thoughts of the people we spoke with or were meeting and serving each day. To Chef Marcus and Crew, thanks so much for the chat and fun, what a pleasure! No Passport Required with Chef Marcus Samuelsson highlighting one of Philadelphia’s first female chef/proprietors. Chef Marcus helps prepare one of Chef Franca’s delicious specialties, traditional Agro Dolce (sweet and sour chicken gizzards). Stay tuned!
