Only a few hours left of #GivingTuesday and we can’t believe all the support coming in. Your donations and support has a direct impact on reconnecting with our partners by adapting our practices virtually, and one day get back to in-person gatherings to celebrate yoga, mindfulness and all the benefits along the journey. We’ve already raised more than $3300! But we still have work to do to reach our Global Day of Giving goal. Any gift, $5 to $100, has the power to change lives. Thank you for all your support! We’re so thankful for all those who have already donated to our #GivingTuesday mission! Share this post with your friends to continue your support during our Year of Transformation campaign. There is much work to be done to rebuild our partnerships and reconnect with our communities who have been affected by COVID-19. We believe in the power of trauma-sensitive mindfulness practices to further shape the future wellbeing for our community. Donate today: https://secure.lglforms.com/form_e/s/J-9wdR-S5zmXEngRG7lq8w

Before all our programming paused back in March, our practices across the Greater Philadelphia area helped to transcend the barriers that prisons and jails create in so many ways. Instead, these practices offer a radical space to be in community and are both based on the latest evidence-based methodology and periodically evaluated. By donating to TYP on #GivingTuesday, you will help us get back to supporting these underserved communities in new ways as we adapt our programming through safe avenues to build back our connection. We appreciate anything you may give! https://secure.lglforms.com/form_e/s/J-9wdR-S5zmXEngRG7lq8w

Good morning and happy #GivingTuesday! As a kick-off to the Global Day of Giving we want to share with you a simple self care practice to get ready for the rest of your day. Start in a standing position. As you inhale, extend your arms overhead. On your exhale, fold in half releasing your hands towards the ground. Inhale and lift your spine/torso up half-way. Exhale, fold back down. Inhale to come back up to stand by pressing your feet into the ground and sweeping arms alongs...ide your body. Exhale take your hands to your heart. Repeat this a few times as you'd like to create a moving meditation. - As we share our Year of Transformation, give the gift of yoga and help us reach our goal of $10,000 today! Stay tuned all day for updates on how you can support our mission. Donate here : https://secure.lglforms.com/form_e/s/J-9wdR-S5zmXEngRG7lq8w See more

Did you know: When the world hit pause on in-person social interaction, TYP began hosting daily yoga practices and meditation sessions virtually for free. We even shared weekly youth yoga sessions over the summer, the same practices used in Philadelphia schools and youth centers. Did you also know: all of these practices are on our YouTube channel! Check out our channel for full trauma-sensitive yoga practices and guided meditations for all levels and ages! https://www.youtub...e.com/channel/UCCW26WAmaB0Dkw9x45O635w - Connecting virtually with our community allows us to share the same practices that are used in TYP trainings and programs across the Greater Philadelphia area. Follow along on #GivingTuesday, Dec. 1, as we share our goals to reengage with our partners and communities See more
