Welcome to Trails & Tails Equine/Canine Sports Massage, Foxy! I had the extreme pleasure to massage Foxy the other evening and get to know her owner, Jess, bett...er! Foxy was extrely chill as I spent 2 hours applying massage with deep pressure to her muscles, including areas of spasms (knots) and tightness! Trails & Trails Equine & Canine Sports Massage Did your horse jump great for you during that English event? Did your horse haul you many miles on that trail wit...hout complaining? Did your horse speed around those barrels to get you a winning score? Did your horse race around that track with everything he had? Did your horse ace his dressage show? Horses will do most anything we ask. Believe it or not, they carry around a lot of muscle spasms (knots) that can make them uncomfortable, but still they do their best for us. Can you think about returning the favor? Muscles get tight, filled with spasms (similar to knots in our body)! These sore muscles slow them down and at times, hurt enough that they react! Consider getting your horse an Equine Sports Massage! There are many benefits, but the main one being increased circulation to decrease the inflammation that all horses have! Shortened muscle fibers can cause discomfort and sometimes pain! I use deep pressure along with the appropriate essential oils to stimulate the muscle fibers, to elongate them back to normal. My massages also work on the lymphatic system to remove toxins from their systems! Call or text me here or at 717-448-9839 with any questions or to schedule a massage! You will be happy you did, but your horse will be happier!! The horse below is Kiss owned my Kylie!!

So, Trails & Rails Equine & Canine Sports Massage had their first visit at a lovely little farm owned by Vickie yesterday!! What a beautiful place and a lovely ...home for her 20 year old Haflinger, Classy! Classy is in great shape, but Vickie wanted him to experience a deep pressure massage. Classy was very Classy for his massage and stood like a champ. When I got into his gluteus area, he was tight and gave me a couple dirty looks, but never anything else. I look forward to seeing him again in about 3 months. Maintenance massages are a great way to keep your horses or dogs muscles in shape, tuned up and ready for any event, trail ride, or just plain crazy exercising in their pasture!! Thank you, Vickie and Classy, for a wonderful morning!! See more

Whew...11 horse massages in 8 days during a heat wave!!! Didn’t think this old girl could pull it off, but with wonderful clients providing fans and drinking p...lenty of water and 5 minute breaks once in a while, Trails & Tails Equine Sports Massage got all 11 done!!! Today we were at Hobby Horse Stables where Deb provided a great fan and Alfalfa hay for the horses’ massages! They are completely spoiled here! Sydney and Jax, massage maintenance OTTBs I do, owned by Ashley, were totally chill and made my job so easy today. As did, Ivory, another one of my monthly maintenance customers, owned by Darlene, tho she really hogged the fan, lol. Everytime I moved the fan to hit me, she would move her body to get the air! I don’t blame her. Always a fun day at these stables! See more

Tracy says...Thank you Julie from Trails and Tails Equine and Canine Sports Massage for Chip's first (and certainly not last) massage. He is still pretty mello...w from his experience. Trails & Tails Equine & Canine Sports Massage visited some very good friends this weekend and had the pleasure of massaging their very sweet and patient dog, Chip. Chip has dealt with extreme stranger anxiety. He is 5 years old and was from a rescue center. He often paces back and forth in his home when his folks have company. Tracy, his mom, wanted to see if a massage would help to calm his anxiety. Well, you can tell by the pictures, he undoubtedly relaxed. And, this was immediately as soon as I began his massage. We were both surprised. Tracy said he was relaxed and sleepy the rest of the night and into the next day. These massages have purpose!! Needless to say, Chip will become a maintenance massage customer per Tracy! Thanks to Tracy and Tom!!

My job should not be this much fun. Oh, heck, yes it should. Spent the whole day massaging horses and trail riding at Codorus a couple weeks ago!! Got to ride A...pollo again, which is always a treat, and massage Chase, a sweet Appaloosa and Fancy, a Missouri Foxtrotter/Argentine Criollo. Now that’s a mouthful. Thanks Chrissy for another great massage/riding day!!! Doing two of my favorite activities -massaging horses and riding them. See more

Both my puppers adore Jules... My old gal Simon(boxer/dane mix)has lymes disease and arthritis in her hips and her monthly massage works wonders... My 185 lb 4 year old baby dog(dane)loves the attention he gets from Jules... Hopes that monthly massage will help in his later years...
