Dear The Little Gym Members & Friends, Yesterday Governor Wolf signed a new Order "Directing Limited-Time Mitigation." The language of that order seems to indicate that The Little Gym of Langhorne needs to close again from December 12, 2020 through January 4, 2021 at 8 am. To be confident I was correctly interpreting that order, I called the local Board of Health. I was told that we are required to close for now. While we’re heartbroken to have to close our doors again, we ...are fully focused on protecting the health and safety of our Members, Team and Community. Nothing is or ever has been more important to us than your health and safety. We are expanding, very significantly our The Little Gym at Home virtual online classes. They will be available to all enrolled students AND to siblings of enrolled students that are not enrolled. We have had great feedback on our virtual classes since we launched them several months ago. While we hoped that we would never again be required to close, we have learned a lot on how to deliver, virtually, the finest children's motor development program via Zoom. Effective immediately, we are adding a new feature to our virtual classes. Each virtual class will allow time for students, TLG Team Members and parents to interact with one another via Zoom. It is impossible to fully duplicate the in Gym experience that started in 1976. Our virtual classes do incorporate the same 3 dimensional learning concepts that you experience in the gym and our team members provide the virtual experience with the same nurturing, positive teaching approach that caused you to chose The Little Gym for your child's development. The Govenor's order is effective for 3 weeks during which Hanukkah and Christmas will be celebrated. It is cold outside and we are all being urged to stay home. The Team and I urge you to hug your kids and loved ones alot and try The Little Gym at Home for the next week. We have never conducted classes in Gym between Christmas and New Year so the Governor's order will affect two weeks of classes and kids club and there will be no holiday camps this year. Rest assured we will make appropriate adjustments to your family accounts to make sure that The Little Gym will always be the very best place for your family to visit and do business! In order to comply with the new Pennsylvania Health Department mandate on face coverings, beginning November 21st we will be requiring children over the age of 2 to wear masks while participating in the gym.
