Using a face mask with children can be confusing. What is the appropriate age? How should I discuss the topic? What type of mask should I use? The CDC states that children over the age of two can begin to wear a mask, and that masks should have at least two layers for protection. Discussions should be age appropriate, and can be in the form of discussion or demonstration. For more information, see the link below.

Wow! What a wonderful way to conclude our virtual summer camp. As with every year, our camp was comprised of typical and special needs children and this year, our campers took part in a month-long remote summer camp experience. To conclude their time together, our families were invited to a socially-distanced, masked trip to the zoo. Here's how it went! A big thank you goes out to everyone who participated in our camp this year, including the teachers, staff, campers and parents. This summer wouldn't have been the same without YOU!
