The Montrose Movie Theatre

We also want to share our sadness over the loss of an irreplaceable, true friend of the Montrose Theatre. Mark Rosengrant, who left us way too soon, gave us life long memories of being part of what it takes to keep a theatre going. Countless times he came in a moment's notice to fix difficult film issues that needed immense patience and exactness. He had the ability to stay cool when the pressure was on. We fondly remember with joy and tears the many music shows that he engin...eered; giving a space for local and touring music, as well as, a cool place for young people to hang out (which is few and far in a rural area). Mark did all the live sound for every speaker, town hall, and special event for the past 8 years. He was part of our theatre family and we hope you can keep his family in your prayers as many grieve for him; missing his smile, love of nature, and musical inspiration. You are missed and will not forgotten. See more
