Happy New Year! The City of Lower Burrell would like to take a moment to remind you that Mayor and Council hold two meetings each month. The Agenda meeting is held for the purpose of discussing new and pending business as well as setting the agenda for the Council meeting. ... The Council meeting is held for the purpose of voting on new items. Agenda meetings are held the first Monday of each month at 7 pm while Council meetings are held the second Monday of each month also at 7 pm. Both meetings are open to the public and we encourage you to attend. Please see our website, calendar and refer to this Facebook page for continuing details. For the month of January, the Agenda meeting was held last night and we will not hold a Council Meeting on the 11th, as we were able to deal with all business at our Agenda meeting. ATENTION BURRELL RESIDENTS The Westmoreland Intermediate Unit’s Training and Consultation Team will host a webinar for parents and caregivers on Friday, December 4th from 12:00 to 1:00pm to provide strategies on how to support children and families during at-home, virtual instruction.
