Happy Easter from the Temple Newman Center! As we continue through the Easter octave, we hope everyone is renewed in health & hope

Updated: there will be a daily mass tomorrow at 11am in the main chapel of the Newman Center, we will continue to pray for everyone during the time period of social distancing and quarantine due to COVID19

Until further notice, the Temple Newman Center and Diocese of Philadelphia will no longer be celebrating mass to reduce the spread of COVID19. Going forward, we will continue to follow to guidelines of the diocese & city of Philadelphia.

Free spaghetti dinner tonight at 6pm, all are welcome Class might be online, but the Newman Center will remain open as long as the University & Diocese of Philadelphia allows it. Welcome back from spring break! The Newman Center will celebrate mass for the second Sunday of the Lenten season tomorrow at 11am and 7pm. All are welcome & we hope to see you there.

There will only be the 11am mass tomorrow Sunday, March 1st at the Temple Newman Center due to the start of spring break. Check www.masstimes.org for additional mass times in the Philadelphia area & we hope you have a great break!

As we start the Lenten season, the Temple Newman Center has a bunch of events this week! We are so excited to celebrate Fat Tuesday with a free pancake dinner leading into Ash Wednesday, our weekly free spaghetti dinnerfinishing with prayer & service opportunities on Friday

Happy Sunday! Mass is at 11am & 7pm today at the Newman Center. As we prepare for the start of Lent this Wednesday, Feb. 26th, remember to follow St. Francis by simply doing what is necessary & possible

There is no better way to spend Saint Valentine’s feast day than serving the homeless of Philadelphia on a Jesus Run! We will be meeting at the Newman Center at 7pm & traveling to the Race Vine station to join seminarians from Saint Charles to go out in groups with food to give, more importantly it is an opportunity to give dignity back to individuals on the street. We can’t wait to see you there!

Happy Sunday! With the words of St. Thomas Aquinas, we hope you experience the love of the Eucharist this week The Temple Newman Center will be celebrating mass today at 11am & 7pm. From Monday-Friday daily mass is at 12:10pm. Eucharist adoration happens in our small chapel every day from 9am-5pm (with a break for daily mass) & is always open for personal prayer. The chapel is located to the left side of the altar, all are welcome!
