"Bike Trail, Blackwell" Just finished this watercolor yesterday. Tried a few different techniques in this one. It was a give and take, but overall not too bad.

The military emblems we painted this summer have been install in their new home.

First watercolor for October. This is our camp in Blackwell. It was from a photo from a few years ago. I wish I could have been there to paint on site, but it wasn't in the cards.

The work on our projects has been going a little slow, but we are making progress. We had to actually pick up this statue of "Our Lady of Guadalupe" in Virginia. As you can see it was previously painted white and we did a full PolyChrome realistic painting over the white. Nikki actually did most of the work, I just did the faces and the fine tuning. Logan did the pick up and will deliver it.

It has been a few weeks since our last post, but we did complete a few jobs. Here are the statue restorations and a sign. Nikki was a big help with everything and Logan helped cut, prime and install the sign.

We just finished another commissioned set of emblems of the five branches of the military. Nikki did a lot of work on these and Logan did some work on them as well.

Sample of recent portraits and figures. There is a variety of media from a quick pencil sketch to oils with underpainting along with a quick watercolor colored pencil and more involved watercolors and acrylics. If you are interested in a special portrait or figure please contact me.

Just finished this watercolor. It was taken from one of photos I took while painting along Pine Creek last week. I did take some artistic liberties and made a couple of changes. This is right next to Rattlesnake Rock which is just 20 yards to the right.

Just finished this Blessed Mother statue so now we are all caught up and hoping for more statue restorations. I do have a drawing and possibly a couple painting. Nikki did all the priming and the underpainting.

Just finished two more statue restoration. Thanks to Nikki for her assistance and I included a pic of the statue we finished the other day. This time it includes the Scepter that Logan made.

Just finished the main statue today. Nikki did the priming and underpainting and I did the repairs and the fine tuning. Logan is actually making a scepter to place in her hand.

Just re-painted the back ground. I think it helps.
