It's the day before Thanksgiving during a worldwide pandemic. The expectations are minimal. Really. No big, fancy, fake and forced family get togethers to have to create or attend. I have glasses now, so I noticed their weight as tears flowed down my cheeks from closed eyes. There he was. This man i’d concocted up from a dream I didn’t even know I had it in me to dream. Sitting at the piano, moving oh so slowly while playing Sunday afternoon tempoed melodies.
