The screening of the "For Them" documentary will now take place virtually on Facebook Live and YouTube on Saturday, January 2 from 6-8 PM. The documentary highlights the creation of the Foundation, how the band prepared for the 2020 Mummers Parade, and the bittersweet outcome of the events of January 1st, 2020. This event will be free to attend and will be emceed by DJ Jimmy Mulholland. It will be a fundraiser for the Foundation. Participants will also have the opportunity that night to buy-in to win cash and prizes.

Recording King Guitars first Custom Shop Plectrum Banjo produced by legendary designer and luthier Greg Rich was recently presented to Captain Denny Palandro of the South Philadelphia String Band. The banjo was created as a tribute to Plandro’s son Denny Jr, Bandmate Joe Ferry & Ferry’s fiancé Kelley Wisely who lost their lives in a tragic accident just hours after performing with the band in Philadelphia on New Years Day in 2019. Denny Jr’s wife Nicole was the lone survivor... and faced an extensive recovery afterwards. Rich wanted to capture the fun and enjoyment the friends always had being a part of the S.P.S.B and the Philadelphia Mummers tradition. Rich's work has been profiled in a dozen national magazines and almost as many art books. The list of celebrities for whom he has designed or built guitars and other stringed instruments is quite literally star-studded: Gene Autry, Clint Black, Garth Brooks, James Burton, The Grateful Dead, Little Jimmy Dickens, Holly Dunn, Stonewall Jackson, John Jorgenson, Paul McCartney, Sonny Osborne, Dolly Parton, Earl Scruggs, Frank Sinatra, Slash, Hank Snow, George Straight, Marty Stuart, Travis Tritt, Steven Tyler, Roy Rogers, Porter Wagoner, Hank Williams Jr. and many more.
