Shikellamy Braves Baseball 1999-2010 16.01.2021

The 2007 team had some other accomplishments. Nick Grasso was Daily Item and SVL all-star as a pitcher. Nick went 5-1 during the year. Coach Aurand was named Daily Item and SVL coach of the year. His team won the District IV championship, going 18-7 in his first year as head coach. Winning 12 of their last 13 games.

2007 District IV Champions. (13 years ago). This team was coached by Rich Aurand. Captains were Jake Weaver, Brandon Culp and Scott Diebler. The season didn't start off with great results. After a 8-3 loss at Selingrove, the team had a gut check time in their outfield following the game. We were 6-6 on the season and nothing seemed to click. Although something must of sunk after that. The Braves went on to win the next 12 games. Including a District title and a 3-2 win over Pittston in the 1st Round of States.

SAVE THE DATE FOR OUR "REUNION". SATURDAY, AUGUST 15th. AT THE SUNBURY HAMILTON FIELD

Shikellamy Braves Baseball 1999-2010 08.12.2020

1999-2010: Shikellamy baseball players and coaches from those 12 years are being invited to come to a "reunion". A Saturday in August (yet to be determined) we will play a wooden bat, slow pitch softball, round robin tournament. Coach Derck's Team vs. Coach Leitzel's Team vs. Coach Aurand's team. Each team will have team captain/organizer. They will organize their individual teams prior to game day. The head coaches (Derck, Leitzel, Aurand) from those years will coach their teams once again. That evening we are ALL invited to come to Pineknotter Brewing Company (Tread, Derek and Brandon Fisher's place). A day of competition with your former coaches and teammates and a night of beverage and watching team highlights from those championship years. More info to follow.
