7/8 8:51am St 15 16 11 and L 36 alerted for a fire alarm in Clinton Twp. 7/8 1:09pm St 15 alerted for wires down in Winfield Twp. 7/8 5:19pm St 15 10 and 45 alerted for a Structure Fire in Jefferson Twp. A second alarm was requested that added 9 27 and 3. Units operated for approximately 90 minutes.

We invite you to attend The 2021 Saxonburg Carnival from Wednesday, August 18 through Saturday, August 21. Carnival opens each night at 6pm on Wed-Friday and 4pm on Saturday. This Carnival will include rides provided by Penn Premier Shows on the Fireman's Grounds. We also have several Food Trucks for great Carnival Treats! This year's format will be a slightly different format that previous years and WILL NOT include the Parades, Water Battle or Fireman's Raffle. Due to the great response from our gate sponsors this year, we are also offering OPEN GATES so there is NO $2 gate entry fee.

Saxonburg's Engine 15-2 was recently cast as a background engine in Netflix's Archive 81 series. Engine 15-2 was made up as a Tarrytown, NY E-15-2 that served on set of a "flashback" shoot for a house fire. Unfortunately, this shot was Engine 15-2 at the scene of a real house fire in our area

On Monday, December 14, Saxonburg VFC responded, along with a number of other companies, for a house fire in Jefferson township. Upon arrival, the house was noted to be fully involved and crews battled the flames from the exterior of the structure. We want to Thank all of our mutual aid for the continued support!

Last night several members traveled to Citizens Hose to continue training on our new Scott Airpacks. Members used the training room at Citizens to practice searches and self rescue. Thanks to Citizens Hose for allowing us the use of your facility we greatly appreciate it.

Fish dinners are going to look a little bit different this year, but they’ll still have the same great taste! Let us cook you dinner every Wednesday in October. Dinners are going to be take out only and between the hours of 4 and 6:30pm... $12 gets you either fried fish, baked fish or chicken, a baked potato or French fries, green beans, coleslaw, a dinner roll, and a piece of cake.
