OUR 2nd ANNUAL CLEAN UP DAY WITH 412 cleanup was bigg...er and better than last year we had double the help!!!!Thank you 412 CLEAN UP THE MAJORITY OR THAT GROUP GOES TO SCHOOL AT GROVE CITY AND ONCE AGAIN WELL ORGANIZED AND GOT A TON OF STREETS CLEANED AND THEY ALSO GAVE FOOD TO OUR RESIDENTS IN NEED!!!!!THANK YOU TO OUR MCKEES ROCKS VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT WHO WERE OUT THERE ON THE STREETS IN FULL FORCE AND ALSO HELPED WITH MAKING SURE THE PEOPLE IN NEED GOT THE FOOD THAT NEEDED HANDED OUT!!!!! Today marks the beginning of a very important week honoring Emergency Medical Responders including EMTs, AEMTs, and Paramedics throughout the United States. The theme for EMS Week 2021 is "This is EMS: Caring for our Communities," The McKees Rocks VFD would like to take this time to recognize our personnel who are EMT’s, AEMT’s, and Paramedics. ... We would also like to thank and appreciate the members of Northwest EMS who we work closely with and dedicate their talents to our community and surrounding communities. More pictures from yesterday’s residential fire. Thanks again to the mutual aid companies and EMS services who responded!

Yesterday the residential box was struck for smoke coming from the roof of a residence. Shortly after dispatch, AC 911 updated they were receiving multiple calls for a residential fire. The fire was upgraded to 2 alarms. Mutual aid companies responded and assisted with suppression and overhaul. Crews operated for approximately 45 minutes prior to the fire being placed under control. Crews remained for approximately another 2-3 hours for overhaul and fire marshal investigations. No injures were reported. ACFM is investigating the source.
