Client of mine has two horses available. Coming 8 year old Paso Fino gelding. His name is Sabata. Chestnut, on the small side at 12.3 hands high. He is super ...sweet, very well gaited, also has an amazing canter! Big hair! He was started here at RO NO Ranch, and is currently ridden all over by a pack of kids. His sire is my Fino stallion El Pastor del Juncal. They are asking $3500. They have a 4 year old filly available also. Her sire is Sabata, dam is a lovely Morgan mare. Come join the fun. PFHA has added a Trail Class to their Virtual Show program. You will be competing against horses from around the world. We are planning t...o crown a Virtual Champion in December. The Trail Class has three subdivision, junior, medium, and advanced with the obstacles more difficult as you go up the levels. You pick the level. The attached pictures show the pattern, gives a description of the obstacles, and what the judge will be looking for. We tried to keep the construction of the course as simple as possible with things most people have. Improvise whenever. I'm using landscape paint to mark some of the obstacles. I had a blast building the course with my granddaughter. Now we are practicing. With this virtual class you can practice as many times as you want. Then videotape your best effort. June will be the first month for this class.

The United Mounted Shooters is under new managem...ent for 2021 and we are working hard to make the upcoming years our best ever. The United Mounted Shooters (UMS) is a National Mounted Shooting Association which was created to promote the sport of Mounted Shooting through its affiliates and members. Our goal is to enable our affiliates to provide affordable events where everyone has a chance to be competitive in a fun, safe, familyoriented environment. Please note that we are transitioning to new management and hope to have everything running smoothly by the end of January. David Morris and myself, Nola Haupert-Keill, are making ourselves available to you for any questions, comments, recommendations/suggestions etc. We want to be able to support our affiliated clubs and members, and to help enable groups to host fun, easy to run events. These smaller shoots are a great resource for the Mounted Shooting sport, and are a grass-roots entry into the sport as a whole. Following is some information about our memberships and club affiliations and what is included with them. We encourage you to look through the information and to join ( or re-join ) the United Mounted Shooters. MEMBERSHIP: Membership runs a full year from the date of joining for all membership levels. You must have a current membership to participate in any UMS sanctioned events including, but not limited to, practices, clinics, demonstrations, matches and jackpots. Only members will be covered under the United Mounted Shooters insurance policy. Yearly Fees: Individual - $25.00 Family - $45.00 (A family membership shall consist of up to 2 adults and their dependent children living in the same household.) Buckaroos -$10.00 (if not included in a family registration) All Buckaroos that have participated in at least 3 matches will receive yearend recognition from United Mounted Shooters. Benefits: o Membership Card o Point tracking on a state, national level (based on a calendar year-Jan- Dec) o Eligible to win State and National high point awards. CLUB AFFILIATION: Affiliation Fee $150.00 per year - Affiliation runs a full year from the date of affiliation BENEFITS: ( for Club Affiliates ) Affiliate book and thumb drive which includes: Guidelines, coursebook, producer’s guide, match software/ instructions, event sanctioning forms, and membership forms. Point tracking for all UMS members on a club, state and national level. Event promotion in an e-newsletter and on the website. Outstanding support available 7 days a week. Paso Fino Mule filly!!! This sweet girl is an absolute superstar. She is extremely friendly, very bold and confident, and is going to gait!! She is absolutely f...earless when it comes to working with obstacles. Loads in the trailer, either up the ramp or up through the side door :-) Ties, is good with her hooves. Cimarron, 7 year old dun large pony mare available at RO NO Ranch. This young mare is super smart, athletic and willing to work. She is still pretty young in he...r training, but we are gearing up to turn her into a phenomenal mounted shooting pony! She is 13.2 HH. Super stocky and well built, she is going to make someone a phenomenal youth horse. Currently she should have at least an intermediate rider because she is still in training, but she has the temperament to accommodate any level. Great ground manners, very easy to work around. We have a lovely Peruvian Paso gelding available for purchase. He is not registered but he is definitely pure bred Peruvian Paso. Flashy bay with four high soc...ks. He is 8 years old. We call him Juan Cabrio :) He is 14.2 1/2 hands high. Well built, lovely small amount of termino. He is an absolute sweetheart!! Very appealing temperament and personality. For the past two years he has been a well cared for pasture pet. He came to my Ranch and we are getting to know him and working with him every day. So far he's been a superstar and is riding beautifully. :) As of right now, I think he would be suitable for an advanced beginner if they are familiar with the breed. He is very nicely Gaited, and will also walk quietly on a loose rein. My primary goal is finding this lovable boy a good home. He deserves it!
