We gathered in Pretzel Park for an encore edition of "Social-Distanced Welcome To Re:Vision Lunch" to bring Emily on board! We enjoyed a cool spring day from a mixture of camping chairs, folding chairs, park benches, and the sidewalk, and laughed at how many people brought their matching swag.
The meme fairy stopped by today.
Everyone here at Re:Vision is wishing a sleigh full of joy to all of you as we round out a year for the history books. To celebrate the close of 2020, Elf Sharon brought gifts and snacks to all the good little children of Re:Vision. We gathered (virtually) in celebration to open our top secret gifts, break bread together, and guess the fridge! It turns out we are, at best, mediocre at guessing whose fridge is in a photo based only on the contents. And because no Re:Vision holiday party would be complete without him, Barack Obama even made an appearance again! It was wonderful to gather in celebration of all we have accomplished in 2020 and acknowledge all we have survived in a strange, strange year. Here's to a better, brighter, healthy and prosperous 2021!
Re:Vision continued our Halloween tradition and we gathered (virtually) for our annual costume contest. While there were many clever and creative costumes, "KAREN" D'Angelo was the clear winner with her perfectly lined lips, two-toned hair, and "I don't care" attitude. We were pleased there was only one death by Zoom in 2020, and honored that Mike Pence's fly made an appearance!
We gathered in Pretzel Park yesterday for a socially-distant welcome lunch for Eli, the newest member of our architecture studio! We're really excited to have you on our team! : Sharon and Leo dog
Green Mountain Energy Company, We have some kudos to report! Our greenhouse just received a prestigious Zero Energy Certification. The M. Christine Murphy Horti...culture Education Center is already a LEED Version 4 Gold certified project, and we just found out that it is also receiving a Zero Energy Certification, making it the second Zero Energy-certified project in Pennsylvania. It’s big news because its remarkably hard for greenhouses to achieve Zero Energy, which means that the solar power system on the OSB Field House roof generated 192% of the greenhouse’s energy needs after the first year of operation. Our greenhouse is the sixth project in Pennsylvania to achieve ILFI (International Living Future Institute) Certification and is the 14th school building in the world to achieve Zero Energy certification. Thanks to our many partners who helped to make this happen including the The Rosenblatt Family - Anna, David, Brooke, Ruth and Sid, Green Mountain Energy Company, Daley + Jalboot Architects Inc, and Re:Vision Architecture.
We've got some biophilia going on in here today.

We have a very strict policy in the office - if you don't have an appointment, you don't come in. Unless you bring cookies. This week we got cookies and a triple-glazed window sample. Yum!
There's some new leadership here at Re:Vision...
A merry and bright time was had by all!
We played four rounds of quizzo at our Year In Review session this week. In Round 4 we had to determine the appropriate biophilic attributes to describe various events that happened over the course of 2019. We have included the correct answers as determined by the consulting studio for your convenience. Let us know if you'd like the original questions sans answers to play along at home.
On occasion, the fashion-forward stylings of two or more Re:Visionaries align for a day. In Round 2 of Year In Review Quizzo we had to guess who got the dress code memo in each photo. It's harder than you would think!
The Great Re:Vision Caper: A couple months ago, postcards of Barack Obama started appearing in our kitchen. Never with fanfare, just a quiet appearance on the counter, in front of the microwave, next to the coffee. A fun little cartoon to brighten your day. We are running out of fridge magnets.... We still don't know who the Postcarder is. Intrigue! Mystery! Speculation! At this time we can confirm it is neither Miss Scarlet nor Colonel Mustard, and there are no candlesticks or lead pipes involved. And then! An email from the former President himself while we were all at lunch together! Stay tuned to this channel for the developing story!
The 2019 Halloween Costume Contest was a tough one. In a runoff vote, Angela claimed the most votes for her Scott Kelly costume. She really nailed the small details, including smart watch, glasses, cortado glass from Volo, and bag of prunes. Family photo front row (left-right): punny energy baseline, black and white movie, hunchback... Rear row: Eyes Wide Shut, bee keeper, Rachel Maddow, bbq pit master and well-fed spouse, Mies van der Lego, dead spotted lanternfly, Walter White, Scott Kelly, Mike's birthday suit See more
This painfully funny video about doing creative work on spec (e.g. for free or reduced cost) is all to real for most architects/creatives and it gives us flashbacks to some jaw-dropping requests we've had over the years...
We need your help in deciding who wins our office Halloween Costume contest. We have narrowed it down to Professor Lupin and Duel Flush. Please help us decide our winner by commenting below.
Happy Halloween! Check out this interesting interview about why certain architectural styles, namely Victorian, have come to define spookiness for us.
