Today is kind of educating and a little freeing for me so I am gonna talk openly. I always see posts about chronic illness or how hard someones life is. I no...rmally dont do either as I don't consider anyone's business but mine. So many of you lately though I have watched in tears trying to get through , I have decided to share....Not because I want your sympathy but because if it helps someone understand for one person....not roll over not accept laziness but just understand whats happening around them then , my embarrassment is a small price to pay. I broke my fibula three weeks ago so I have had alot of down time to truly contemplate my life....and let me tell you that is not a great thing. I usually stay busy enough I don't have to think. For those who don't know me personally, I am a 47 year old woman who has no thyroid, parathyroid severely damaged calcium glandsn,o gallbladder, uterus tonsil, appendix I have chronic depression with anxiety that i wrestle with everyday that my thyroid issue compounds.I have Irritated Bowel Disease...stress is not my friendlies year i was diagnosed with small nerve nephropathy severe arthritis and this year they would like to decide if i have fibromyalgia....someday my brain....just does not work I have a very small aneurysm on my brain that thankfully seems to not enlarge or migrate. Yet when you look at me , I look like a perfectly normal human being. Without my pain meds walking, stairs are all difficult....yet i do it...sometimes not as quick as the rest of you but i get there. I do however know when I get up in the morning... My time and my energy are limited. I often times take a nap like a small child....Let me assure you ....this is something I find humiliating. Stupid for feeling that way you say ? Maybe but I would like to be just tired one time not falling asleep sitting up or not being able to hear and comprehend what is said to me. There are days my vision is words than others....those are the days I hide in the house and say if you want my help ...you have to come to me. And I smile and look after what I can. Why ? because complaining helps no one. My son is severely autistic. He has periods where he is self mutilating . He has no gallbladder either. Which means ...he can make messes of unbelievable proportions. I have a few friends who have been there to help me over the years with him and for that I am thankful. He can scream for hours because he is angry or because he has issues from having no gallbladder... What do i mean by that? As soon as we eat most times it comes back out....Either in diarrhea or vomit. And pain alot of pain. I have learned to sit in silence and deal because I comprehend it will pass. He however doesn't have that comprehension. You try to not be embarrassed...but its still there ...a family dinner or out with a friend and you spent 30 minutes in the bathroom....you are still a freak or feel like you are. Ibs teaches you to avoid stressful things....the more your stress the more your body revolts against you ...you learn out of necessity stay calm. I can go on , I can answer questions...but my point is....STOP judging what you don't understand folks. Not everyone is lazy. Not everyone is avoiding doing something. Some people try they give it their best ...find something good to say .....Your love , your acceptance...your help may sometime be the difference between their ability to be okay, and their ability to drown in their own grief . Make no mistake ....with chronic illness you grieve every day ....You grieve your not normal, you ask why not me , why can't I do that? Folks I am not asking you to be used....I am asking you to watch...observe Know the difference between lazy and sick....Be the difference in someones life. * feel free to share if you think this will help someone you know

The Pennsylvania Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is asking for the public’s help to identify the person or persons who brutally stabbed a dog a...nd left it for dead in North Philadelphia. While we don’t know the whole story, we do know that Woobie was stabbed at some point and left to die, said PSPCA’s Nicole Wilson in a statement. We are seeking the public’s help to uncover what happened, who did this and bring them to justice. Anyone with tips is urged to call 866-601-7722. Tips can be left anonymously. To support the PSPCA efforts to protect animals like Woobie, and bring their abusers to justice, donate below.
