This is Bennie! He has a lot of joint issues, so when I need to do his nails and trim his feet I use this contraption called a hound hammock. Using this takes all the weight off of his joints so he is not uncomfortable at all during the grooming process, despite his joint problems. Which makes him a happy pup for grooming

Shedding dogs don’t just go to the groomer to get clean, they also get a deshed treatment and Griffin is proof of how much it helps! (Look at all the pictures and videos to see what really goes into deshedding a dog )

I love being able to teach and share information that will help owners and their pets! Now I get the chance to teach someone else what grooming is all about. Everyone meet Abby! Hi, I’m Abby and I am a senior at Palmyra Area High School. I have been working with animals my whole life and have always enjoyed it! In December I became the mom to a golden retriever named Dixie who just turned 14 weeks old! I am interning at Pup Cuts because I am interested in becoming a groomer after graduation. I’m excited for the opportunity to work with your furry friends!

Sometimes when a puppy comes in for its first groom, they get a little nervous because they are new to the whole process. When this happens, I spend a little extra time cuddling and comforting. Bear was such a good boy and needed a nap after his groom (it was tiring for an eight week old puppy).
