As of 9/1/2020, I gathered data from Great Lehigh Valley Realtors Multi-List for North Whitehall Township to illustrate Quarterly Selling Price and Package Price (SP/SF) trends in a detailed way most have never seen before. If you want to see the most recent Quarterly Trends for another similar area in Lehigh or Northampton County, please let me know. The area with the most votes in the next 24 hours will get posted next.

48 Years ago I became a Realtor.

Premes Realtors 10.10.2020

It's been awhile since earning the SRA designation from the Society of Real Estate Appraisers in 1986. A few years later I served the Lehigh Valley Chapter No. 92 from 1989 to 1990 as their President. Then in 1991, changes in the industry created the Appraisal Institute from the merger of the American Institute and Society issuing a the current SRA Member certificate. I then led the newly formed Northeastern Pennsylvania Chapter as President into the new millennium in 2000. Then served again as chapter President in 2013 to 2014 before it merged with Central PA to now become the Keystone Chapter encompassing 34 counties. So now it's time to serendipitously celebrate my 34 years as an SRA.

Thank you Gov. Wolf for realizing real estate appraisal as an essential service.

Let me know what you think.

The three essentials to life are food, clothing and shelter. Yet, PA failed to classify real estate as a life-sustaining business. So, those who need appraisals for home equity loans will be out of luck. Let me know what you think.

Go online and complete your Census information!

Premes Realtors 23.07.2020

Have You Completed Your U.S. Census Yet? Completing the 2020 census will not only help the government allocate resources to your community, but it will also help the real estate industry. The National Association of Realtors relies on data from the census for resources for studies, real estate developers use census data to build new homes and revitalize old neighborhoods and census data determines where to build rental properties and how to market your business.... Late last week, households across the U.S. began to receive an invitation to respond to the 2020 census. Every household has three ways to reply, online (https://2020census.gov/), by mail or by phone. If a household does not respond, they will receive a reminder letter, then a reminder postcard, followed by another letter and postcard. Census takers only go to homes that have not replied to the census. The Census Bureau will never ask for your social security number, bank or credit card numbers, political party affiliation or for donations. In federal funds, $1.5 trillion is allocated to schools, hospitals, roads and public works throughout communities based on their census data. Additionally, Congress uses census numbers to decide how many seats a state will have in the U.S. House of Representatives, and states use the numbers to determine seats in their government. This year’s results will also impact the funding of $93.5 billion to federal direct student loans, $19.3 billion to Section 8 housing choice vouchers and $12 billion to the National School Lunch Program. NAR has created a census resource page, videos and promotional materials for you to share with others to urge them to take part in the 2020 census. April 1 is Census Day nationwide. Make it your goal to complete yours by then.

"Blue on Blue" composed by Burt Bacharach and recorded by Bobby Vinton peaking on 7/6/1963 at #3 and his #1 1963 version "Blue Velvet", that 1951 hit for Tony Bennett, feature the 2020 Color of the Year. Let me know if you use or plan on using Chinese Porcelain (blue) in your home decor. Feel free to share some photos, too!
