June is PRIDE Month! At PCA, we understand LGBTQ+ youth are at risk for homelessness and physical, sexual and emotional abuse. In partnership with our friends at The Attic Youth Center we welcome LGBTQ+ youth with inclusive evidence-based supports that affirm their own identities, and provide the tools needed to heal.
PCA is proud to host this community event in partnership with Warren G. Harding Middle School, The Anti-Violence Partnership of Philadelphia (AVP) and the rest of the Frankford Schools Coalition and PCA’s #NeighborhoodPartnersInPrevention! Community violence is an associated risk factor for child sexual abuse. So PCA plans to take a stand and #WearOrange because ALL children and families need safe, supportive communities in order to thrive!
