Palmyra Fire will be hosting the following classes: Forcible Entry Monday, July 19 & 26, 2021 (1900-2200) Saturday, July 31, 2021 (0800-1600)... Building Construction: Wood and Ordinary Monday, August 16 & 23, 2021 (1800-2200) Saturday, August 28, 2021 (0800-1600) Confined Space Awareness Monday, August 30, 2021 (1900-2200) Building Construction: Fire Resistive & Non Combustable Monday, September 27 & October 4, 2021 (1800-2200) Saturday, October 9, 2021 (0800-1600) You must attend all classes for certificate. If you are interested in any of these classes, please email [email protected] Billing will occur after classes are conducted to be determined by class size. Class size is restricted due to COVID-19. Acceptance will be first come first serve.
National Night Out is back! Join us on Tuesday August 3rd from 5pm to 8pm at Buck Swank Stadium at the Palmyra Middle School and stop by the firehouse to meet your local volunteers and get a first hand view of our apparatus and equipment. We’ll see you then!

Palmyra Fire volunteers are out supporting the food truck festival located on West Cherry Street.
Around 1030 this morning the Palmyra Volunteers were dispatched for a Motor Vehicle Accident w/ Ejection in Box 1-02. Rescue Engine 1-1 responded with 6 and arrived to this 3 vehicle accident. Crews stabilized the vehicles, treated patients, and stretched an attack line due to one vehicle smoking.
Tower 1 w/5 is currently transferred to Dauphin Station 35 (Linglestown Fire Company No. 1 - Station 35) while their truck works a building fire in the township.
One of the most important roles in the fire service is getting a water supply established. Members today, spent two hours completing run in scenarios.
Tonight for training, members of Palmyra Fire went over airbags, stabilization and hydrant evolutions.

Palmyra Fire will be taking Santa around the area on Friday starting at 530.
Wagon 1 W/4 and Engine 1-1 W/4 assisted Annville-Cleona Fire district on a truck fire today. Crews were out for a little under an hour.
Around 1700hrs the Palmyra Volunteers were dispatched for a reported basement fire in the borough. Upon arrival, crews had light smoke showing and the box was upgraded. Upon investigation, members found a small fire in the wall near the floor boards of the first floor and extinguished as such before then holding the box to units on scene. Thank you to the mutual aid departments on the scene for assisting with clean up. Not pictured, the volunteers also handled a working trailer fire and an accident with entrapment over the last week.
