We know it’s been a little while since we checked in. Many things have changed during the COVID 19 pandemic. As an EFDA who works in an office and teaches in clinical settings, I have to say that this is probably the safest time for dentistry. We are taking every precaution to stay safe and it’s not nearly as bad as anticipated. We are practicing social distancing, washing our hands constantly, using hand sanitizer and wearing proper PPE. So if you feel discouraged about work...ing right now, please don’t. Remember when everyone was afraid to fly after the horrific events of 9/11. The thing is, after 9/11 it was the safest time to fly. And the reason is because we were prepared. And in dental offices all around PA, we are prepared. Our dental school are prepared! So please remember to wash your hands, donn proper PPE, practice social distancing if only wearing a mask, and don’t stress yourself out. We all look like this and we are all in this together!
