A 65 yrs old male case of metastatic prostate cancer, he underwent B/L orchidectomy in 2010, following which he was started on tab. bicalutamide 50mg OD, in 2011 he developed bone mets ( non weight bearing) for which he was put on oral bisphosphonate therapy, and was started on pall. CT with single agent Docetaxel. Following this he was lost to follow up. Now he presented with wide spread skeletal mets to spine, pelvis, femur. his current inv. reveals, S. Testosterone 10ng/dl, S PSA- 472ng/dl. His PET CT confirmed only skeletal mets with no other visceral mets. Patient received pall RT to weight bearing areas along with IV bisphonate therapy. what is the next line of management??? People who smoke tobacco through a water pipe, also known as a hookah, are still exposing themselves to a harmful mix of toxins, according to a small new study. Researchers from the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), cautioned that water pipes are not less harmful than cigarettes. And those who use a water pipe appear to face higher levels of carbon monoxide and benzene, which has been linked to increased risk for leukemia.
